Division of Community Services

The mission of the Division of Community Services is to provide a range of services to some of Mississippi's most vulnerable citizens who are economically disadvantaged. Program funds are targeted to individuals and/or households, especially the elderly, homeless, children and disabled persons. These programs are designed to alleviate both the causes and effects of poverty.
