Public Hearing Announcement for FFY 2013-2015 State Plan:

The Mississippi Department of Human Services, Division of Early Childhood Care and Development is holding a public hearing in Jackson, MS to collect public comments related to the Child Care Development Fund Plan for federal fiscal year 2012-2013. Those interested in commenting on the draft of the state plan may submit written comments and/or provide them orally at the hearing. This hearing is being held only to collect input from interested parties about the draft of the CCDF State Plan.

The public hearing in Jackson, MS will be held at Mississippi Public Broadcasting Auditorium located at 3825 Ridgewood Road, Jackson, MS 39211 on June 17, 2013 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.

If you are not able to attend the hearing in person, you may email comments to DECCD@mdhs.ms.gov.




    The Division of Early Childhood Care and Development (DECCD) has made a draft of the CCDF State Plan available for public comment. This is only a draft copy and may not be used to report on DECCD program implementation. Public hearings will be held to solicit comments on the CCDF State Plan. Dates and times for these hearings are posted at www.childcareinfo.ms. If an individual wishes to comment on the CCDF State Plan and is not able to attend one of the scheduled public hearings, comments may be emailed to DECCD@mdhs.ms.gov. The final CCDF State Plan will be posted on this website after a period of public comment and as soon as federal approval is received.
