Division of Human Resources
The Mississippi Department of Human Services' (MDHS) Division of Human Resources is tasked to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of vital services to the MDHS clients and beneficiaries across the state by providing managerial support services to the Department's programmatic divisions and staffs.
The Division's responsibilities are comprised of two primary functions: personnel and administrative services. Within these, Personnel provides administrative services for the Department's employees, management services to meet the agency's staffing needs and training services to insure the highest degree of competency. Administrative Services' responsibilities include housing, maintaining, securing and protecting the Department, its statewide staff and property, as well as providing mail services, printing, publications, telecommunications and motor pool.
